Privacy Policy

YIPI operates a browser gaming website at yipi.io. You can play most original games without creating an account. This policy explains the information collected by the YIPI website, why it is used and how you can manage it. Contact YIPI at Admin@yipi.io or through our contact form.
1. Information we collect
- Optional profile: a username, a securely hashed password, favorites, saved-game snapshots, personal records, achievements and daily challenge participation.
- On-device game data: original games may save scores, progress and preferences using your browser's local storage. Registered players may choose to synchronize supported saves to YIPI's server.
- Contact requests: your selected topic, message, and any name or return email you voluntarily enter. We retain a pseudonymous address-derived fingerprint for spam prevention.
- Technical/security information: session identifiers, anti-abuse records such as IP-based login attempts, plus standard web-server access and error logs controlled by the hosting provider.
- Advertising information: after you allow advertising, Google's advertising tools may collect or receive cookies, device identifiers, ad-interaction information and other data under their own policies.
2. How we use information
We use this information to provide games, operate accounts, synchronize saves, display personal and optional public records, respond to messages, detect fraud or abuse and operate the website. Google AdSense may be used to help fund the site. We do not ask for payment card information in this website build.
3. Account visibility and public leaderboards
Your username and qualifying best scores are shown on public casual leaderboards only if you turn that option on in your profile. Saved-game data and your password are not shown publicly. These scores are client-reported and not fully cheat-resistant.
4. Cookies, advertising and consent
YIPI sets a session cookie for essential account and security functionality and a cookie recording your advertising choice. We load the Google AdSense script only when you select Allow advertising in our settings. You can reject or change your choice from the Cookie Policy and settings page. Google may use cookies and similar technology if advertising is allowed; see Google's ad technologies for details.
The YIPI preference panel alone does not satisfy every region's advertising-consent requirements. Google-certified consent management and US state privacy messaging must be configured where required before advertising goes live to those visitors.
5. Sharing and external services
Website hosting providers may process technical data to serve and protect the site; Google may process information for ads when enabled. Third-party game links open websites independently operated by other publishers. We do not control their privacy policies, cookies or game functionality. We do not publicly sell lists of player account details.
6. Retention and security
Accounts, game saves and personal records are retained while the account remains active or until you delete it. Contact messages are configured to expire after 90 days; messages may be removed sooner, while hosting backups can follow different retention schedules. Consent choices expire after 180 days. Individual game browser storage remains until you delete it. Hosting logs follow the host's retention settings, which the operator must verify before launch.
Passwords are stored as hashes rather than plaintext. We use session and request protections, but no web service can promise perfect security.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
You can play without registering, opt out of public rankings, change optional-ad preferences, and delete your account and associated server-side game records from Account and data controls when signed in. Use Contact YIPI to request access to or correction of your personal data, ask for a copy of your records or raise other privacy concerns. We may need to verify account ownership before processing a request.
Applicable privacy laws may grant additional rights, depending on where you live. To exercise them, select “Privacy or data request” on the contact page.
8. Children
YIPI is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly request their personal information. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate. The operator should review advertising settings and child-directed content before launch.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as site functionality or legal requirements change. We will publish a revised effective date here. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to Admin@yipi.io or through our contact form.
Before launch: the operator must insert their verified legal/business identity and any legally required physical address, confirm this email mailbox receives messages, and verify hosting, advertising and retention practices. This page is a detailed starter policy, not individualized legal advice.
